Christopher Bastin satte for et par år siden sejl for GANT Rugger og fik som chefdesigner styret mærket direkte ind i hjertet på stilbevidste mænd i både Skandinavien og USA. Med successen i bagagen blev han efterfølgende udnævnt til kreativ chef for hele Gant.
I anledning af Stockholm Fashion Week, der forløber i disse dage, har We Are The Market spurgt den energiske og sprudlende Bastin om de bedste tips til den svenske hovedstad. Det er altid godt at få gode råd fra en mand, der elsker mad, drikke og tøj, så vi lytter efter. Her er nogle af Christopher Bastins anbefalinger til Stockholm:
Restauranter
Daphne’s - It’s run by a very close friend and once a month we gather on Mondays (when it’s closed) to cook, drink and lie, just the boys. Great vibe, great crowd and the best fries in the city.
Riche - It’s a classic hang out and eatery, the maitre D´ makes sure the atmosphere is fantastic. Beautiful people and great food. The bar next door is upscale hipster heaven.
Barer
Grand Hotel - If you wanna feel like a million dollars, and spend it too.
Svartengrens - Order the cocktail “A mother of a mover” and you will understand why this bar is known as the best one in town.
Hangout
Kungliga Djurgården - It’s the royal family’s island, and was once used for hunting. The channel makes up for a perfect walk and there’s plenty of great places to grab a bite to eat or have a glass of wine. It’s also where the Zoo “Skansen” is. If you’re bringing the kids, don’t miss it.
